This gorgeous ring is one of my favourite more recent finds. Purchased from a London estate earlier this year it has sat in my own collection since as I pondered if I should sell it or not.

Hand made and stamped 18ct Gold around the 1890 period the ring has been set with stunning quality diamonds around 2.5 carats, way, way above the usual clarity and colour found from this period.

It was clearly made as a bespoke piece for a very wealthy lady back in the Victorian period and the old cut diamonds are very clean and extremely white.

Today, diamonds of this quality are reserved for Companies such as Tiffany and Cartier, so one can only imagine who this piece belonged to all those years ago.
