I have owned and sold many Roman period rings in the past, this is positively the best of them all. Its subject is second to none; a beautiful young Roman couple hold hands as they pledge a marriage oath more almost 2,000 years ago.
I cannot imagine that a more unique and romantic gift can exist anywhere in the World and I have seen far lesser examples sell for more than three times my asking price in the past.

The ring dates circa 2nd century which is known as the "Classical" or "Hellenistic" period.
